  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Beat together softened vegetable oil spread, sugar, eggs, and molasses.
  3. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and cardamom. Mix well.
  4. Add raisins to dough and mix. Dough will be soft but not too sticky.
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto lightly greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes. They will look dark brown with slightly soft centers.
  7. Allow to cool before eating as raisins will be quite hot!
