- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- In a saucepan melt butter.
- stir in granulated sugar and milk.
- Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
