White Christmas Pie

Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 1⁄2 cup cold water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1 pint whipping cream
- shaved bittersweet chocolate
- 2 pie crusts, chocolate cookie
Directions
- Beat egg yolks until light and add sugar, continue beating until thick and smooth.
- Soft gelatin in cold water. Place in the top of a double boiler, stir until gelatin is dissolved.
- Add vanilla, milk and egg mixture.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened and very smooth.
- Chill.
- Whip the cream and fold into the egg mixture. pour into 2 prepared 9" chocolate cookie crumb crust. Sprinkle with shaved chocolate.
- Chill.
