White Chocolate Nut Bars

Quick and Easy something sweet from a cake mix. I probably got this off of a cake mix box at some point. I've had it for years. Always a hit at our concession stand during the family antique auctions.

• Serves: 12-15
• Yields: 1 pan

Ingredients

• 1 (18 ounce) box  chocolate cake mix
• 1⁄2 cup  of melted butter
• 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
• 2  tablespoons water
• 1  egg
• 1  cup  chopped  nuts
• 1 (12 ounce) package  vanilla chips

Directions

1. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, water and egg in large bowl
2. Combine cake mix.
3. Combine nuts.
4. Combine vanilla chips.
5. press into 9"x13" cake pan.
6. bake 350* 30-35 minutes until top forms a dry crust.
