White Chili

Ingredients
- 3 (14 ounce) cans white beans
- 1 (10 ounce) can chicken breasts or 1 1⁄2 cups cooked chicken
- 8 ounces cream cheese or 8 ounces philadelphia cooking cream
- 1 cup mild salsa
- 1⁄2 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 (12 ounce) bag shredded Mexican blend cheese
- 2 -3 cups chicken broth
Directions
- Place first 7 ingredients in crock pot. Add enough chicken broth to just cover. Heat until hot, 2-3 hours. Serve with hot cornbread or crusty French bread.
- This recipe tastes great as it is, but if I have time to do a little more prep, I like to place the following optional ingredients on the table for each person to add on top of their chili:
- jalepeno slices.
- sliced black olives.
- fresh cilantro.
- salsa.
- sour cream.
- shredded cheese.
- avocado slices.
