Whiskey Pork Chops

This recipe give a different flavor to the old "pork chops and applesauce" version. It is easy and tasty. Show more

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Combine the first 6 ingredients.
  3. Salt and pepper the pork chops.
  4. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Saute pork 5 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove.
  7. Add onion and mushrooms to the pan and saute for 3 minutes.
  8. Slowly add whiskey to pan, cook for a minute until almost evaporated.
  9. Stir sour cream mixture into pan.
  10. Return pork to pan and spoon sauce over pork.
  11. Wrap handle of pan with foil and cover.
  12. Bake@ 300 for 1 hour.
