Whipped Cream Topping

Ingredients
- 1 cup whipping cream or 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or 1 1⁄2 teaspoons imitation vanilla
Directions
- Chill bowl and beaters in the freezer for at least 5 minutes.
- Whip cream until soft peaks form.
- Add sugar and vanilla.
- Whip mixture until stiff peaks form.
- Recipe makes enough to cover a 9" pie.
