Wheatley Hills Marinara Sauce

Ingredients

• 1  garlic clove, minced
• 1  tablespoon olive oil
• 2 1⁄2 cups canned Italian tomatoes, drained
• 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano
•  salt and pepper

Directions

1. Saute garlic in oil for several minutes. Do not allow garlic to brown.
2. Add tomatoes and oregano.
3. Bring to boil, then simmer over very low heat for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste.
