Wheat Germ Brownies

These have a slightly caramel crunchy bottom layer and a chocolately top layer, and lots of wheat germ flavor. Show more

Directions

  1. Bottom layer: Mix together wheat germ, flour, brown sugar, melted butter.
  2. Spread mixture evenly into bottom of greased and floured 9"x9" baking pan.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Top layer:Melt butter and chocolate over very low heat.
  5. Remove from heat, beat together with sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  6. Add dry ingredients and mix.
  7. Spread over bottom layer.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees 25-30 minutes.
  9. Cool, slice into squares.
