Wheat Free Northwoods Pasty Pie

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 medium potatoes
- 2 cups sliced carrots
- 1 small onion
Crust
- 1⁄2 cup rice flour
- 1⁄8 cup tapioca flour
- 1⁄8 cup potato starch
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon xanthan gum
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons cold butter or 6 tablespoons Earth Balance buttery sticks
Directions
- For the crust:.
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll into a 9" circle between two pieces of waxed paper.
- Filling:.
- Chop all the vegetables and put in a 9" baking dish.
- Brown the ground beef and add to the baking dish.
- Cover with the pie crust.
- Bake for 40 minutes at 350.
