Welsh Teacakes

Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1⁄4 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup raisins
Directions
- Mix Flour, Salt and Baking Soda together then cut in Shortening with pastry cutter or 2 Knives till it looks like corn meal.
- add sugar, eggs and milk and mix.
- add flour
- add raisins.
- Next roll out dough till it is about a half inch think and cut with bisquit cutter into rounds,.
- heat griddle to 350 degrees and cook the teeecakes about 10 to 12 minutes each side till golden brown.
