Wedding Potatoes

I'm not sure why these are called Wedding Potatoes but they are delicious! I usually serve them with Pork Chops but they could be served as a side dish for almost anything. Yum! Show more

Yields: 8 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 2  lbs hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 2  cups  shredded cheddar cheese
  • 14 cup  chopped onion
  • 1  cup milk
  • 12 cup  melted butter
  • 1 (10 ounce) can  cream of chicken soup
  • 1  cup sour cream
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 1  teaspoon salt
  • 1 12 cups  crushed  corn flakes
  • 3  tablespoons  melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix thawed hashbrowns, cheddar cheese and onion in a large bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl combine milk, 1/2 cup melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Pour milk mixture over potatoes and mix well.
  5. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish.
  6. Mix cornflakes and 3 tablespoons melted butter. Sprinkle over potatoes.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
