Water Chestnut Cheese Bites

Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, softened
- 1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄4 cup chopped stuffed olives
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
Directions
- In a small mixing bowl, beat the cheese and butter on low speed until blended. Add the flour, olives and cayenne; mix well. Beat in the egg and water chestnuts until combined. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 400' for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Serve warm.
