Wasabi Crusted Shrimps With Ginger Dip

  1. Grind wasabi peas into powder with apinch of salt in a coffee grinder or food processor.
  2. Sprinkle salt over shrimps.
  3. Whisk egg white with a pinch of salt until foamy.
  4. Add shrimp and toss to coat.
  5. Hold shrimp by the tails and dip into ground wasabi peas to coat the shrimp.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Heat half the oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  8. Add half of shrimp and fry for 1 to 2 minutes per side until coating is crisy and shrimp are curled.
  9. Repeat with remaining oil and shrimp.
  10. Serve hot or cold with ginger dip.
  11. Ginger Dip:
  12. Combine pickled ginger, mayonnaise, green onions, lemon juice and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  13. Serve with shrimps.
