Warm Italiano Spread (Kraft Recipes)

I served this as an appetizer with an Italian dinner. This was super easy and a huge hit! The original recipe from Kraft had this baked in an aluminum foil packet on the grill, but the version below is for the oven. I have already had several people ask me for this recipe, and my sister is making it for a party tonight. Show more

Serves: 12

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package  PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese
  • 14 cup basil pesto
  • 1  plum tomato, chopped
  • 14 cup  kraft finely shredded italian*  five cheese blend
  •  Nabisco Triscuits

Directions

  1. Place unwrapped bar of cream cheese in center or small dish.
  2. Top with next 3 ingredients.
  3. Bake in 375ºF oven 12 to 14 minute or until shredded cheese is melted and Neufchatel is softened, but still holding its shape.
  4. Serve with Triscuits. The recipe suggests pepper and olive oil, but any that go with the flavors above will be great.
