Warm Italian Pepper Dip

This is about as easy as easy gets. It's also very good. My husband asks me to make it all the time during Steeler season, but I think it is especially nice for Christmas, because of the colors of the peppers. I use Oliverio Italian Style Peppers in sauce,which is a brand in our area, but any brand of Italian peppers in sauce will work. Show more

Serves: 8-10

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1  pint  italian pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Empty peppers in sauce into a medium sized bowl. Cut any large peppers into bite size pieces.
  3. Spread softened cream cheese into the bottom of a 9 inch glass pie plate. Top with the peppers in sauce, making sure that the cream cheese is not exposed.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Serve warm with crackers.
