Warm Apple Cake (Optional - With Creamy Caramel Sauce)

Ingredients

• 1  cup all-purpose flour
• 1  cup sugar
• 1  teaspoon baking soda
• 1  teaspoon cinnamon
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1  egg, beaten
• 2  cups apples, cored, peeled, and shredded
• 1⁄4 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

1. Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl; set aside. Mix together egg and apples; add to flour mixture. Stir in walnuts.
2. Spread in a lightly greased 8"x8" baking pan. Bake at 350F degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
3. Serve warm, drizzled with Caramel Sauce.
