Walnut Cherry Strudel #A1

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon A.1. Original Sauce
- 4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup sweet cherries, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
Directions
- Heat the oven to 375°F.
- Combine A.1. Sauce, chocolate, milk and butter into a microwaveable bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Repeat until the mixture is melted and smooth.
- Roll the pastry sheet into a 16x12-inch rectangle. Spread the chocolate mixture on the pastry to within 1 1/2 inches of the edge.
- Sprinkle with the walnuts and cherries.
- Roll up like a jelly roll. Place seam-side down onto a baking sheet.
- Beat the egg and water in a small bowl.
- Brush the roll with the egg mixture.
- Bake for 35 minutes.
- Cool. Slice into 6 portions.
