Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup plus 2 tbsp shortening
Directions
- heat waffle iron.
- beat eggs in large bowl.
- beat in remaining ingredients.
- pour batter into center of waffle iron.
- bake 5 min or till steaming stops.
