(W)holy Grain Bread, Batman! (Abm)

Serves: 1-15
Yields: 1 loaf
Ingredients
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup white bread flour
- 1⁄3 cup uncooked 10 grain cereal (I use Bob's 10 grain Red Mill hot cereal)
- 1⁄3 cup uncooked oatmeal
- 1⁄3 cup chopped pecans or 1⁄3 cup walnuts
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons dry milk
- 2 tablespoons butter (cut in small cubes)
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 1⁄2 cups warm water
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons dry yeast
Directions
- Add ingredients in order suggested by your bread machine manufacturer.
- Set controls to "whole grain" or "whole wheat", "large loaf".
- Cool bread on rack when done to room temperature, then refrigerate wrapped in plastic for about 8 hours (makes it easier to slice).
