Vinegar Pie

Ingredients
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 1⁄2 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 1⁄4 cups sugar
- 1⁄3 cup flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 baked pie shell, cooled
Directions
- In saucepan, combine beaten egg yolks with water, vinegar and melted butter.
- Mix sugar and flour together and stir into egg mixture, mixing until lumps are gone.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil and cooks thick.
- Add lemon extract and stir.
- Let cool, then pour into baked cooled pie shell.
- Chill until ready to serve.
