Vicki's Angel Cookies

This is from Vicki. She makes these for the farmers market and boy they sell fast. They have chocolate chips in them. they are a firm cookie and taste like a mixture of sugar cookie and chocolate chip. they are very good.

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 1⁄2 cup  vegetable oil
• 1  cup  packed brown sugar
• 1  cup sugar
• 2  large eggs
• 2  teaspoons vanilla
• 4 1⁄2 cups flour
• 2  teaspoons baking soda
• 2  teaspoons cream of tartar
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
• 1 1⁄2 cups chocolate chips
• 1  pinch coconut

Directions

1. Cream the butter, vegetable oil and sugars together.
2. Add eggs and vanilla.
3. Sift the dry ingredients together.
4. Add to the creamed ingredients.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
6. Make into small balls and roll into sugar.
7. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes on ungreased baking sheet.
