Very Simple Tuna Cakes

This is a very rich and easy tuna cake. You can change the canned tuna for chicken, salmon, crab. Whatever floats your boat. Show more

Serves: 2

Yields: 6 patties

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 ounce) can tuna
  • 14 cup  fine breadcrumbs
  • 2  tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 12 tablespoon  Old Bay Seasoning (season how you like this is just what I use.)
  • 1  dash pepper
  • 2  tablespoons  frying oil

Directions

  1. Mix everything except the oil in a bowl.
  2. Make sure you taste the mix to make sure you like it and it's seasoned right.
  3. Scoop up a walnut sized ball, and flatten to about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Put the patties in freezer.
  5. Heat oil in skillet
  6. When oil is hot take patties out and place in frying pan.
  7. Fry for 3 minutes on each side.
  8. Goes nicely with a salad =) Enjoy.
