Very Good Russian Salad Dressing

This dressing gets its red color from paprika. From "Its About Thyme" cookbook, it's one of my favorites. My seven- year old daughter asked me after taking a bite of her salad, "Did you make this? It's very good." From the mouths of babes...

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 2  teaspoons paprika
• 2  teaspoons  celery salt
• 1  teaspoon salt
• 1  small onion, grated
• 1  cup  oil
• 1⁄2 cup cider vinegar

Directions

1. Mix all ingrediants thoroughly; Make sure sugar is dissolved.
2. Store in a covered pint jar in the refrigerator.
3. Stir or shake well before using.
