Vermicelli Salad

My friend Tammy always makes this salad for her parties. It's so easy to make. Make the dressing a day ahead if you can it's better that way. You can also add cooked chicken if you want to make it a main meal. YUMMY! Show more

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

  • 1  lb  vermicelli
  • 14 cup  sesame oil
  • 14 cup soy sauce
  • 2  tablespoons sugar
  • 1  teaspoon  hot chili oil (or more)
  • 2  tablespoons  balsamic vinegar
  • 12 cup sesame seeds (toasted)
  • 1  cup  sliced green onion

Directions

  1. Cook vermicelli according to package directions and cool completely.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients except the sesame seeds and green onions, pour over noodles and toss.
  3. Add sesame seeds and greed onions and toss again.
