Venezuelan Spice Marinade

Although it is indicated as a marinade for 'meat,' it was probably meant for beef. This recipe is posted as prepare for participation in World Tour 4!

• Yields: 3 1/2 cups

Ingredients

• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 2  teaspoons curry powder
• 2  cups tomatoes, finely diced
• 1⁄4 cup onion, finely diced
• 3  garlic cloves, minced
• 1⁄8 teaspoon ground pepper
• 1⁄4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
• 1  red bell pepper, finely diced
• 1  cup barbecue sauce, spicy

Directions

1. In a glass bowl, combine all ingredients & mix well.
2. Use immediately as a marinade for meat of your choice.
