Vegetarian Dog Chowder

This is great for older less active dogs who could use the protein, but not the fat, of meat. And just to be clear, despite what one chef had to say about garlic, oil, and the lot, my vet had no problem with this recipe, says my dog benefits from it, and attributes her wonderful health at her old age in part to her diet. So choose carefully when it comes to your own dog and consult your vet if you are worried, but know that this is not the poisonous concoction some would have you believe. Show more
