Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cabbage, coarse chopped
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 large potato, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1⁄4 cups vegetable broth
- 1⁄2 teaspoon thyme
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sage
- 1⁄2 teaspoon white pepper or 1⁄2 teaspoon lemon pepper
- salt, to taste
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a dutch oven.
- Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer covered for 30 minutes.
- Vary the recipe by adding zucchini, mushrooms, or corn.
