Ingredients
- 1⁄2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1⁄2 cup coarsely chopped onion
- 1 medium green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
- 3⁄4 cup boiling water
- 8 ounces can tomato sauce
- 1⁄2 tablespoon chili powder (more to taste)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3⁄4 cup dry textured vegetable protein (TVP)
Directions
- Heat the oil and sauté the onions and pepper for 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve over hamburger rolls.
