Vanilla Frosting

Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar, NOT powdered sugar
Directions
- In a small saucepan slowly whisk the flour into the milk and heat, stirring constantly until thick. Allow to cool to room temperature.
- While it's cooling cream the softened butter and the sugar together until it is light and fluffy.
- Stir Vanilla into cooled milk/flour mixture then add to the butter/sugar mixture and beat until combined and it resembles whipped cream.
- Use immediately or you will have to rewhip if it starts to separate.
