Vanilla Cream Wafers

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄4 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 3⁄4 cup sifted cake flour
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Cream until light butter, and sugar.
- Beat in egg, vanilla, and grated lemon rind.
- Add cake flour.
- Drop small amount of batter with a teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 7 minutes or until rims are tan.
