Vanilla Cream Delight

Use this sauce instead of ice cream to enhance everyday desserts . Very Good!!

  1. Combine sugar and cornstarch in a medium saucepan. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens slightly.
  2. Stir about one-third of the hot mixture into eggs; return egg mixture to saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat abour 1 minute or until mixture just thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Cover surface completely with plastic wrap. Cool to room temperature. Chill.
