Vanilla Cream Delight

Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 1⁄2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Combine sugar and cornstarch in a medium saucepan. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens slightly.
- Stir about one-third of the hot mixture into eggs; return egg mixture to saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat abour 1 minute or until mixture just thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Cover surface completely with plastic wrap. Cool to room temperature. Chill.
