Valentine Nutella Love Letters

Yum! So quick and easy... Bake store-bought puff-pastry dough or crescent rolls filled with Nutella and top with powdered sugar. Done! Show more

Yields: 8 pieces

Ingredients

  • 1 (17 1/3ounce) package puff pastry
  • 8  teaspoons  nutella  chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 14 cup powdered sugar (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cut puff pastry dough into 8 triangles.
  3. Place 1 teaspoon of nutella hazelnut spread in the center.
  4. Fold both bottom triangle edges in to the center, then fold the top center triangle down to form an envelope.
  5. Place on baking tray.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes or until done.
  7. LET COOL! That nutella gets HOT!
  8. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
  9. Enjoy!
  10. You can fill your pastry envelopes with anything - just don't over stuff. We have tried chocolate chips, marshmallows, pecans, caramels -- all delicious! These are also great using the refrigerated crescent dough in a tube.
