Utlimate Meatloaf

My Mom made this for me as a child. I no longer eat meat but make it for my husband and he swears it's the best meatloaf he has ever had and gets a touch upset with me if I try changing anything in it. Hope you enjoy it as much as my family has over the years! Show more

Serves: 4-8

Ingredients

  • 2  lbs ground beef
  • 3  eggs
  • 2  cups  saltines (crushed, I do mine in a food processor)
  • 2  teaspoons garlic
  • 1  onion (If you have a picky eater use a food processor so the onion is chopped very finely)
  • 2  cups Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 12-34 cup ketchup (so it's good and moist)
  •  steak sauce

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Add enough ketchup to moisten and some steak sauce to give it a little zip.
  3. Shape into a loaf.
  4. Top with enough ketchup and steak sauce to make a think coating on top and sides of loaf.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  6. Serve and Enjoy!
