Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 1⁄2 cup nuts
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 cups pumpkin
- 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 3⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3⁄4 cup milk chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Cream shortening, brown and white sugars.
- Add eggs, vanilla, lemon flavoring, and pumpkin.
- Combine dry ingredients and mix together with shortening mixture.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
