Ustad's French Toast

Ingredients
- 1 . 4 slices brown bread
- 2 . 1 eggs, beaten
- 3 . 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 . 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk
- 5 . 2 tsp. all-purpose flour (maida)
- 6 . few tsp. rice bran oil
- 7 . 1/2 tsp. sugar (optional)
Directions
- 1. Mix the ingredients listed from 2 to 5 together in a bowl. Beat well.
- 2. Heat a flat bottomed griddle.
- 3. Dip the bread slices in the beaten mixture on either side.
- 4. Heat few teaspoons of rice bran oil on a flat bottomed pan. Allow the oil to spread on all sides of the pan.
- 5. Place the coated bread on the flat bottomed pan and cook on either side.
- 6. Flip and cook until lightly browned.
- 7. Serve hot with tomato ketchup and enjoy.
- Note: Sugar can be used instead of salt to prepare sweet French toast.
