Umberto's Calves' Liver

This recipe comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't cooked any of the recipes yet. I'm putting them on here so I can find them easier. Show more

Yields: 2 lbs, liver

  1. Melt butter, add the onion, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and liver. Cook for 5 minutes over hot fire, shuffling pan constantly. Add wine, mushrooms and parsley. Cook 3 minutes more.
