Tuscan Chicken With Sage

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1⁄2 cup fresh sage leaf
- 2 cups chianti wine
- 3 lbs chicken thighs (bone in)
Directions
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium. Add onions and cook, stirring, until softened.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper and sage. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add wine and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until sauce is reduced by 1/3, about 5 minutes.
- Arrange chicken over bottom of slow cooker and cover with sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
