Turnip Greens Soup

I got some really cheap turnip greens and needed different ways to cook them. This is a satisfing soup that I cobbled together from several recipes.

Ingredients

• 2  slices bacon, diced
• 1  stalk celery, chopped
• 1⁄2 cup onion, cubed
• 1  garlic clove, crushed
• 3  cups water
• 1  potato, peeled, cubed
• 1  chicken bouillon cube
• 1 (15 ounce) can white beans, drained
• 1 (14 ounce) can  turnip greens
• 1  teaspoon pepper

Directions

1. Saute bacon, celery, and onion together.
2. Add garlic.
3. Add water.
4. Add potato and chicken bouillon cube.
5. Add white beans and turnip greens.
6. Season with pepper.
