Turnaround Turkey and Rice

Quick use of Thanksgiving leftovers.

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 2  tablespoons butter
  • 2  stalks celery, chopped
  • 1  small onion, chopped
  • 1  cup  cooked turkey, cut in cubes
  • 1 12 cups water
  • 1 (1 1/4ounce) package  turkey gravy mix
  • 14 cup milk
  • 2  tablespoons flour
  • 1  teaspoon Season-All salt

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add celery and onion and cook for 5 minutes or until tender, stirring occassionally.
  3. Add cooked turkey.
  4. Blend water, gravy mix, milk, flour, and season-all.
  5. Pour over turkey mixture.
  6. Stir.
  7. Bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
  9. Serve over rice.
