Turkey Ragout With White Wine

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs turkey breast, cubed
- 1 (14 ounce) can plum tomatoes, chopped (do not drain)
- 1⁄2 cup dry white wine
- 2 1⁄2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1⁄2 cup sliced carrot
- 1⁄2 cup sliced celery
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 -2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 -4 tablespoons cold water
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except cornstarch, water, salt and pepper in slow cooker. Cover and cook 6-8 hours on low.
- Turn heat to high and cook 10 minutes; stir in combined cornstarch and water, stirring 2-3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
