Turkey Chili

Yields: 4 8 oz servings
Ingredients
- 21 ounces ground turkey breast
- 14 ounces diced tomatoes with jalapenos (I prefer petite diced)
- 15 ounces great northern beans
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and mince
- 2 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1⁄2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 3 dashes Tabasco jalapeno sauce
Directions
- Brown the turkey in a med. saucepan.
- Drain and rinse the beans.
- Add beans, garlic, onion and jalapino and cook over medium heat til the onions are translucent.
- Add the tomatos including the juice from the can.
- Add seasonings.
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes, than taste and adjust seasonings to personal taste and enjoy!
