Tuna Tapenade

Yields: 1 1/2 cups
Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cup pitted black olives
- 1 cup basil leaves
- 3 anchovy fillets
- 1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and drained
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 (3 ounce) cans tuna in olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- black pepper
Directions
- In food processor, chop garlic, Add olives, basil, anchovies and capers and process until pureed. Scrape down sides of bowl.
- With motor running, drizzle olive oil and process until incorporated.
- Transfer to a serving bowl. Add tuna with its oil. Mix well. Add lemon juice, and season to taste with pepper.
