Tuna Cashew Casserole

Not for people watching their salt intake, but OH this is good

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 14 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1  cup celery, finely diced
  • 1  tablespoon butter
  • 1 (10 3/4ounce) can  cream of mushroom soup
  • 13 cup chicken broth
  • 1  tablespoon soy sauce
  • 18 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (7 ounce) can tuna
  • 1  cup  potato chips, coarsly crushed or 1  cup  crisp chow mein noodles
  • 13 cup cashews

Directions

  1. Cook onion and celery in butter for about 5 minutes.
  2. Combine with soup, chicken broth, seasonings and tuna.
  3. Stir in 1/2 cup chips or chow mein noodles.
  4. Put mixture into a buttered 1 Quart Casserole.
  5. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 Cup chips or noodles and the cashews.
  6. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
