Tuna California Pizza

I found this wandering the current bon Appetit mag. It comes from http://tunathewonderfish.com and there are a bunch of other creative tuna ideas there! I can't wait to try it! Show more

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 5  ounces tuna, drained and flaked (in oil is what recipe called for, I use in water)
  • 1  pizza crust, large
  • 2  tablespoons olive oil
  • 1  garlic clove, minced
  • 6  ounces  marinated artichoke hearts
  • 12 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 12 red onion, sliced
  • 1  cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 14 cup basil, fresh chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F
  2. Place pizza crust on baking sheet.
  3. Heat olive oil in small skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute 30 second (do not burn).
  4. Spread sauteed garlic oil over pizza crust.
  5. Spread flaked tuna over crust evenly.
  6. Top with red peppers, artichokes, red onion and feta cheese.
  7. Sprinkle with basil.
  8. Bake 8-10 minutes.
