  1. Purée cantaloupe chunks in blender or food processor.
  2. Strain through sieve.
  3. Discard pulp.
  4. Heat 1/4 cup strained cantaloupe juice with cornstarch.
  5. stirring constantly, bring to a boil to clear cornstarch.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in 1 1/3 cups cantaloupe juice.
  7. In another saucepan, combine orange juice and sugar.
  8. Heat and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
  9. Combine cantaloupe and orange mixtures, stir in lemon rind.
  10. Serve hot or cold, poured over ice cream and melon chunks.
