Trimlestown Roast Sirloin

Ingredients
- 3 lbs sirloin tip roast
- 2 ounces whiskey
- 10 ounces red wine
- 1 ounce butter
- 2 ounces flour
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Roast the sirloin for one hour at 350 degrees.
- Baste with whiskey and wine and cook another hour, basting frequently.
- Remove roast from oven, place on a serving dish, and cover with foil.
- While the roast is sitting, add water to the juices to make one pint of liquid.
- Bring to a simmer and add butter and flour; simmer 2-3 minutes.
- Slice the roast and serve with gravy.
