Traci's Ranchy Noodles

A wonderful ranch style tasting egg noodles. It will become a hit at your next picnic or family table! Show more

Serves: 6-12

Yields: 1 Large Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) package  of any style  egg noodles (I use bow ties, wide noodles, etc.)
  • 1  lb bacon
  • 1 (16 ounce) bottle  ranch salad dressing
  • 2  medium tomatoes, diced into bite size pieces
  • 2  medium cucumbers, peeled and diced into bite size pieces
  • 8  ounces frozen spinach
  • 8  ounces  frozen peas

Directions

  1. Brown your bacon.
  2. Remove from heat and drain.
  3. Cook egg noodles according to directions.
  4. As soon as your noodles are done, add the spinach and peas to the water.
  5. Bring to a boil and cook until the spinach thaws.
  6. Drain and run cool water over the noodles.
  7. Drain again and let sit until it is completely drained.
  8. In a large bowl, crumble your bacon into small pieces.
  9. Add the tomatoes and the cucumbers.
  10. Next, add the noodle mixture.
  11. Mix well.
  12. Add the ranch dressing.
  13. About 3/4 of the bottle.
  14. Mix again.
  15. You can serve immediately or chill to a colder temperature.
  16. If the noodles look dry, add more dressing until you are satisfied.
