Tomato Tarragon Sauce

Ingredients
- 3 medium shallots, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon cooking oil
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons tarragon vinegar
- 3⁄4 cup tomato puree
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried tarragon
- 1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Saute shallot and garlic in oil in a small saucepan until tender; about 2 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 5 minutes. Serve hot.
