Tomato Basil Pasta

Ingredients
- 2 lbs tomatoes, chopped
- 1 white onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 3⁄4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 1 lb fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Directions
- Mix all ingredients except pasta and cheese. Let stand at room temperature for one hour.
- Cook and drain fettucine. Toss with tomato mixture and sprinkle with cheese.
